Project:Start Website

Project:Start is about bringing people together under a common ethos. For this teaser site, the client was interested in creating a buzz prior to the launch of the full site so that users could start spreading the word.

Orange Star worked with the client to plan, design and build the site. The site is built with PHP & MySql and leverages AJAX calls to YouTube.Com as well as WidgetBox to allow site users to post videos without having to reupload them. They simply specify the YouTube URL for the video and the code does the rest.

Orange Star also created a custom administrative interface so that the client could review and approve video submisions and aministrate the site's mailing list.
